Infinity Beach Club is the latest venue to open in Baan Tai. It is an impressive beachfront spot with masses of space for pool, restaurants, bars, dance spaces and music equipment. The concept is to bring the jungle party back to the beach and pimp up the amenities.

The club had its soft opening in October 2015. Despite being low season for Koh Phangan, the party was a success and showcased the potential of Infinity Beach Club.

The club is located to the east of Baan Tai pier on the coast near Morning Star Resort. It covers a large area that holds an impressive 1,000 square meter lawn as well as three bars and two restaurants and a large swimming pool with infinity lip. All of this commands beautiful beach views, making the beach and ocean part of the party.

Those looking for Asian and fusion cooking will enjoy Zen Restaurant; and those wanting seafood are catered for handsomely at Big Fish Restaurant. This is beach chic with the impressive pool and beach views taking centre stage.

In front of the pool is the lawn area that holds king size sunloungers, massage tables and shady palms.

The result is an attractive and stylish place to hang out during the day and a place to party as the sun goes down.

There is a large posse of DJs on hand to provide the tunes. You can expect to hear the best of the Thai and foreign talent on Koh Phangan at Infinity. Regulars include Peter G, David Chong and Stella Bellamy.

Infinity is an impressive place for Koh Phangan. It does remind me slightly of Buddy’s Bar on the outskitrs of Lamai beach in Koh Samui. It is a venue for chilling during the day and also a spot for late night drinking. The club is open from noon to 2am. They have a massive selection of beers, spirits and cocktails, and of course can rustle up a good old fashioned bucket for you.

2016 will no doubt reveal whether Infinity Beach Club ends up becoming like Loi Lay Floating Bar, an important venue for DJ events or whether it becomes the Buddy Bar of Koh Phangan.
